Recent events did little to alter Wisconsin voters' views of Democrat Hillary Clinton and Republican Donald Trump, with Clinton still leading Trump in the state -- albeit by a slightly narrower margin, a new poll shows.
Results of the latest Marquette Law School Poll were released Wednesday.
Clinton led Trump 43 percent to 37 percent in a head-to-head matchup among registered voters, with 11 percent saying they'll vote for neither candidate, according to the poll.
Among likely voters, Clinton's lead narrowed to 45-41, with 9 percent supporting neither......................

Gov. Scott Walker's approval rating remains mired south of 40 percent, a new poll shows.
Thirty-eight percent of registered voters responding to a new Marquette Law School Poll said they approve of Walker's job performance, compared to 58 percent who disapproved.
................................
The most recent Marquette poll in June found Walker's job approval at 39 percent. That's roughly in line with where Walker's approval stood for much of the last year, though the March poll showing him nudging slightly upward to 43 percent.
Walker's approval declined significantly last summer, during his failed bid for the GOP presidential nomination.
Poll director Charles Franklin said that although Walker exited the race some time ago, in September 2015, his approval in his home state has yet to rebound..............................

Democrat Russ Feingold still leads Republican U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson in Wisconsin's U.S. Senate race, but a long-term view of the race shows it becoming increasingly competitive, the director of the Marquette Law School Poll said Wednesday.
Feingold led Johnson among registered voters 48 percent to 41 percent in a head-to-head matchup in the new Marquette poll, results of which were released today.
Among likely voters, Feingold's lead drew closer, to 49-44.
.........................
Libertarian Phil Anderson draws a noteworthy level of support from poll respondents, though his presence in the race doesn't significantly alter Feingold's lead in the poll.
Feingold leads a three-way race with 45 percent among registered voters, compared to 38 percent for Johnson and 8 percent for Anderson. Among likely voters, it's Feingold at 46 percent, Johnson at 40 percent and Anderson at 7 percent.....................
