Forget the poll numbers. Are there any figures on people registering or changing registration....... (Original Post) LongTomH Jul 2016 OP
Why would they do that now? The primaries are over. They can vote for whichever candidate they want Squinch Jul 2016 #1

In a national election you do not have to change registration to vote for any presidential candidate Demsrule86 Jul 2016 #3

for Senate, US Congress, state legislators, and other local offices. The ones that count at least as much as president when it comes to effecting change.

As for registration, we register voters all the time in Ohio...and there is a push right now. I fail to see how that knowing the numbers is that important. What we need to do is look at voter suppression which here in Ohio is happening...where I live all but one polling place has been closed. We have a parking lot that can hold maybe 50 cars. And it is worse in the larger cities. I live in Cortland.

that's been occurring for decades continues, but it's too early to know what the final numbers will be for 2016. It's likely that the reality of Trump's actual nomination will jolt some more than would have left anyway out of the GOP. Our first woman candidate's will cause a few more conservatives to finally leave the Democratic Party, beyond those who did during the primary.

Very interesting topic. I'd love to see pretty solid numbers up to this point.

That'd violate the the TOS oath and it'd be deleted just as soon as they hit "post my reply."
