Mike Pence - the new Dan Quayle.

Here are a few of the doozies that escaped Danny boy's mouth.

If we do not succeed, then we run the risk of failure.

For NASA, space is still a high priority.

Republicans have been accused of abandoning the poor. It's the other
way around. They never vote for us.

Republicans understand the importance of bondage between a mother and child.

What a terrible thing to have lost one's mind. Or not to have a mind
at all. How true that is.

Here are some of Pence's:

"To date, embryonic stem cell research has not produced a single medical treatment, where ethical, adult stem cell research has produced some 67 medical miracles.
"Sadly, embryonic stem cell research is completely legal in this country and has been going on at universities and research facilities for years."

Sarah Palin, on the other hand, made Quayle look smart by comparison.

MATTHEWS: Right. But do you believe in evolution as the way he did it?
