How Hillary handled Trump's VP roll-out far better than Trump did.

One more proof that she's got this!

http://www.cnn.com/2016/07/15/politics/donald-trump-vp-rollout-hillary-clinton/

In the crucial moments after Trump announced he had chosen Indiana Gov. Mike Pence as his running mate with a tweet on Friday, Clinton's campaign sprang into action, while Trump's team missed several opportunities to capitalize on its own news and be the first to frame the narrative around the new partnership.

Within 15 minutes of Trump's initial tweet, Clinton responded with a video outlining a point-by-point case against Pence.

A minute later, her campaign posted the same video, but with Spanish subtitles. By 11:15 am ET, the campaign was out with a one-page graphic showcasing Pence's views on hot-button issues such as abortion, taxes, immigration and gay rights.

Despite it being their own announcement, Trump's team does not appear nearly as prepared. Using Trump's tweet as the starting gun, much of Clinton's content was made public before Trump sent out a single fundraising pitch or even put the news of the announcement prominently on his website.

Even two hours after the initial tweet, the only mention of Pence on Trump's website was a reference to his tweet, low on the page. Pence's personal website didn't mention the partnership at the time either, nor did it redirect to the presidential campaign. The Trump campaign did, how

Much better than in 2008, when her campaign had almost as much drama as Trump's. In her case though it wasn't because she was crazy but because she had staff who were busy fighting with each other instead of helping her win. Glad to see she is running a better campaign this year. We are going to need it.

right now. And God knows, we can't just say positive things about her when she does something particularly well. If we did that, we'd all turn into pumpkins.

I said she had campaign staff who were busy jockeying for power instead of serving her interests. I am glad she has better people this time around who are prepared for this kind of thing.

That is just one of the many things that makes Hillary the smartest person in the room. She has the intelligence to know when to move forward and let the past go. She is not one to waste time ruminating about what might have been and instead keeps learning and keeps going. Her opponents are outclassed in every way!

inability to steer the conversation. For example, Republicans are STILL seen as the party of fiscal responsibility when in fact they spend like drunken sailors and the Democrats repeatedly pick up the pieces and put the economy back together again.

In this roll out, Hillary's team was masterful. Maybe for once we will be out ahead of the message.

The compliment is never allowed to stand on it's own.

This was a phenomenal move on Hills part. Brilliant! Sad it can't stand on it's own, huh Squinch.

There is always a 'but'.

Excellent speech today, but....

So cool under fire by Trey and committee , but....

So she won the nomination, but....

Minutes after Pence was announced an ad pounding him from Hill and team was on the airways, but...

She knows how to handle the situation diplomatically...Trump knows how to escalate a situation and make it worse.
