Says Patrick Murphy has "taken more money from Wall Street than any other member of Congress other than the speaker and the majority leader."
Alan Grayson on Thursday, June 30th, 2016 in an interview with the "Tampa Bay Times" editorial board
In the race for Marco Rubios Senate seat, Democratic Rep. Alan Grayson warned that Rep. Patrick Murphys campaign contributions from Wall Street make him far less progressive than what Democrats need in the upper chamber.
Grayson made the comment during an interview with the Tampa Bay Times editorial board June 30 when probed about why he doesnt see eye-to-eye with Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y. Grayson cited Schumers long history of Wall Street support to explain why their ideologies dont connect. Then he hypothesized why Schumer backed Murphy over him.
"Guess who has taken more money than any Democrat from Wall Street?" Grayson said, adding that the person was a "certain second-term congressman from Florida who serves in the financial services committee and has no standing in the committee other than the simple right to vote."
He continued: "His name is Patrick Murphy, and he's taken more money from Wall Street than any other member of Congress other than the speaker and the majority leader."...

Murphy is a Republican that recently became a Democrat. The Democratic Senate Majority Pac is going to spend $1,000,000 on ads against Grayson and supporting the former Republican turned Democrat Patrick Murphy. This will be the first time in it's history the Pac will spend money in a primary:

(10,495 posts)I don't profess to have an in depth knowledge of how either of those two raise their funds. I am at least aware of the controversies surrounding these two in their fundraising, but I specifically didn't make an attack on either.
I have always been, first and foremost, an advocate of Publicly Funded Elections, years before Bernie ran for President. Campaign contributions are bribes. There has always been a quid pro quo attached with large donors. We no longer have Representative Democracy.
Our office has always been supporters of Democrats as have I. Republicans do not like trial lawyers and the suits we bring against corporate America. Tort Reform was a big scam that stole many of our rights under the false meme of "frivolous lawsuits."

He should take care of that log in his eye before worrying about the splinter in Murphy's eye.
Damn, I hope Alan Grayson loses the primary. If he wins it's a guaranteed seat for the GOP.
