What the heck did I just see?

The Pence "rollout" has to be one of the strangest Vice Presidential media events in recent history. Over twenty minutes of Trump rambling on about himself followed by a weak handoff to Pence and his cut and paste "I hate Hillary Clinton" teabagger speech. Then... When that's over... music stopped and started, there was a half hearted handshake, and an awkward kiss and cry line. The whole thing ended with everyone slipping out the back door.

Hardly awe inspiring, hardly a team of any kind.

I had not heard that!

Flash back to President Obama's rollout of Vice President Biden. Could not be more different.

But I'm tickled they didn't fill the room. And the applause was "meh."

4. Did I hear him (drumpf) call HRC a "murderer" and the timid pundits said not one word?

Gloria Borgia led off with positive comments and they all chimed in. He has succeeded in intimidating the cable media into not criticizing him.

Imagine if Hillary had done the same with the rambling narrative, juvenile name calling, the personal "plugs" - what they would say?

I love the way he reads from a grab bag of papers rather than the horrible teleprompter. What's the big difference?

I wonder if he loathes to be on the same stage with Pence as he makes him look fatter, older, less fit etc?

That's what happens when you piss off all them liberal graphic designers, video producers, and public staging experts. You get the dollar store of media events.

The one which apparently they've dropped after only 24 hours:

Seriously, it looks like they are getting ready to break American's mattress, in Samantha Bee's phrasing.
