So agree with you.

The way an accomplished woman like Michelle Obama was raked over the coals being called the N-word, a commie sympathizer, monkey, gorilla, videos on youtube proclaiming that she was born a male, she's been called a prostitute. Such hideousness she still receives to this day and she's been one of the most intelligent FLOTUS' in history.

I have absolutely no pity for tRumps bought and paid for mail order, mistress, bride. Don't hate the woman, but could care less about her. She's had it much easier than Michelle has or will ever have it.

Tue Jul 19, 2016, 12:07 AM
Jul 2016

Oh, I consider myself leagues above the sea over Republicans about how THEY approach what's moral as opposed to a-moral.

Truth is truth, and Michelle has been raked over the coals and demonized these last 8 years something awful, mostly due to her skin color and due to her being an accomplished woman/person. So, given that tRump goes around calling women pigs and disrespecting them and worse, I feel compelled to talk about his wife's "sketchy" background, and to point out that the milk is nowhere NEAR clean in her glass either. Also, because of all the moralizing the GOP has done as it concerns Michelle Obama and how, like I've mentioned, she's been demonized something awful. Just shameful the way they've demonized her and as we know, most of what they've said has been proven as flat out LIES and innuendo. Mrs. tRump's nude pics are all over the internet, and there are less than unsavory stories about her background, also stories contracting HOW she REALLY got with tRump as well (Seems as if they really didn't meet at a party as tRump has insisted). See, the thing about moralizing while standing on top of a mountain is that when you point your finger at someone (As has been done to Michelle), there are going to be fingers pointing back at you--the moralizer.

Finally, the right wing has gotten away with far too much of that moralizing for too long. I understand the "we're better than them" credo. However, I also feel compelled to go after those over on their side and to set the record straight of who I consider a bunch of moralizing hypocrites. Michelle sure wasn't off-limits, neither were the Obama daughters, especially not these last several years, and I sure as heck am not going to give the right-wingers a pass on their faux-moralizing, especially given the fact that there are extra-large volumes of skeletons living and thriving in their closets.

IS too kind a word for what Mrs. Mail-Order bride did.

She STOLE--PLAGIARIZED a huge graph of Michelle's 2008 Convention Speech.

I thought Melania said she had little help writing her speech? Which is it Melania? Did you write it or just steal it yourself?

SO much for poor Melania. She knew how to STEAL part of a speech Michelle Obama wrote from 2008. IF Michelle were a thief like Melania (Which she isn't--she's truly intelligent), she'd be raked over, under, around, through and into the coals.

Then again, Trump didn't marry her because she was smart. But yes, even if the logo creater and speechwriter were once Trump supporters, I imagine getting to know him better and working for him changed their minds real quick.

a first lady is not to be the object of ridicule. How many times have we seen Michelle Obama ridiculed because of her race alone? Yet some rich guys white wife who posed naked in a magazine for all to see is exempt from criticism? Oh hell no.

Consider the amazing role models other women have been as 1st lady and then look at this designer tramp. Sickening. Every head of state and their wives will know of how little this combo has to offer. Other than a bare butt in some rag of a magazine. This RNC makeover of her being a model and then a business woman is pure tripe. I've known scores of beautiful women and women in business women. Somehow they managed to keep their shorts on.

And what is frustrating is to see just how much of that is accepted, rewarded, and valued by so many people. I wonder if they teach their little girls this?

And then to stand back and watch brilliant women like Hillary Clinton and Michelle Obama get raked over the coals over stupid shit things like their hair, or showing their arms, or that their hips are a little wider.

Speaking 5 languages is impressive from an American standpoint since we aren't big on foreign languages. But most Europeans speak a minimum of 3-4 languages. That is their average and to be expected of just about everyone. And because she was in the fashion industry, even moreso.

What impresses me would not be what is a common denominator amongst all europeans. It would be something that she did on her own merits. Did she do anything on her own? Besides be a lingerie model? Don't get me wrong. I don't knock it. You work with what God gave you. And more power to her and everyone in the fashion or beauty industry. They make good money and live glamorous lives.

But so often we equate beauty (i.e. very narrow set of facial features) with all these other positive traits: intelligence, charisma, benevolence, integrity..... we lift them up just by them being beautiful. It is human nature.

And conversrly, when someone actually HAS the intelligence but the wrong skin color or whose facial features are not within the accepted norm, we make bullshit excuses to denigrate them.

accepting that such a buffoon should run for what is literally the most important job in the world - and then giving a speech on national television at the RNC in support of his run? And then lifting entire portions from Michelle's speech to do it?

She is a grown woman who made her choices. Let her experience at least some of the consequences of those choices. Perhaps experiencing just a tiny bit of the vitriol that Hillary and Michelle have endured constantly and consistently for years for no cause other than that they are STRONG women will make Melania convince her buffoon of a husband to just go away.

A pawn has no choices at all. Melania both has and had several options. She chose none of the good ones, except perhaps that she didn't actually spew the hatred that her husband and his supporters do. For that I give her credit.
