Chris Christie dismisses claims that Melania Trump’s speech at the Republican Convention Monday night was plagiarized from a 2008 speech by Michelle Obama, saying “that sounded like her to me last night.” Regarding his GOP convention speech Tuesday night, he says, “I’m going to make a case tonight that Donald Trump is ready to be president of the United States, and perhaps his opponent is not.” Asked if he would accept a post in a Trump administration, he says, “It would depend on what was offered.”
