"The Republican National Convention has officially nominated Donald Trump as the GOP candidate for President. His home state of New York put him over the 1,237 delegate mark, with his son Donald Trump Jr. announcing the delegation’s vote."

While this won't stop the talk by some about him finding ways to exit the stage at some point before November, or even before January, it does end the talk that he won't actually secure the nomination.
