2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumWhy do people have issues with Daily News Bin: They are on DEMS side & use sources (GD 16)
I find these 2 websites helpful & positive:
http://www.dailynewsbin.com/
http://bluenationreview.com/
These 2 sites are pro-DEMS and they do research & provide sources & links. Also they are pro-HRC & right now she is our nominee!
As DEMS the media is against us. We need all the help we can get!

(81,209 posts)I googled for the speechwriter's name a couple of days ago - who had turned in the finished draft of the Melania speech, which proved those two plagiarized passages were NOT in the original that left his hands. There was briefly a crawl across the bottom of the screen on MSNBC but then it disappeared. And I hadn't taken notes fast enough to write it down.
I couldn't find it anywhere. Not ANYWHERE. But when I finally did find it, the Daily News Bin is the one that had it (Matthew Scully).

(43,049 posts)is that if a news source isn't 100% for us it's against us.
And it's often difficult to figure out what "100% for us" actually means.
No sources are perfect, and all slant to some extent, but the trick is to try to get as many sources as you can and filter it all out.
It's work, but what isn't these days.

(30,481 posts)I like the blue nation review but it is what it is. An extension of the Clinton campaign. There is no real way to disassociate from that. Still, it provides us with great information to combat the BS hurled at Clinton and also gives great positive information form promotion.

(6,444 posts)This is very useful & encouraging & positive!
There is a lot of media trying to demoralize DEMS!

(30,481 posts)I also see how it can serve a very important purpose for us after the election.

(6,444 posts)I find people that want to discourage us from using their sites suspect!
The nominee is HRC and they are pro-HRC and pro-DEMS!
That's useful for us in the present HRC-negative media climate!
If you want to pooh pooh that, I wonder why?

(1,122 posts)Every facet of powerwhether it's financial, media outlets, and other major corporations and industries (plus the U.S. military industrial complex)are wanting the next and 45th president of the United States to be Hillary Clinton.

(4,031 posts)Six corporations control the majority of broadcast media in this country. I don't like it one bit, but as a lifelong democrat, I have not seen Obama address the issue in any way, nor begin any process to ensure true freedom of the press. It's not free when the message is manipulated by like minded media giants.
As usual, there is so much going on behind the scenes that the public will never have knowledge of. And they call it a government of the people, by the people, and for the people, yet we, the people, do nothing but sit back, drenched in apathy, and watch as our freedoms and guarantees under the constitution are not walking, but running away from us.

(5,969 posts)I didn't read many stories of them but judging from the ones I read, it felt that too much unnecessary commentary in partisan fashion was added. The problem is, the content or facts would have been enough to make the point. Just let the facts stand for themselves. But the added commentary to make Clinton appear in an even better light was too much and too obvious and just didn't help the case even if the general point of the story would have been correct.

(16,327 posts)As for the Bin, not sure if it is officially a part of the Clinton campaign like BNR, but they are strictly HRC partisans. If you want to share propaganda, then they are great tools. If you want to be taken seriously they are not. It's like a GOPer citing FAUX as legit.

(6,444 posts)For electing DEMS and DEM Presidents. Most media is negative towards HRC. It's good to have positive resources!
It's a good balance!
BNR is a propaganda arm of the Clinton campaign.

(16,327 posts)Like I said, it is 100% propaganda -- which is fine -- but don't ever try to make any sort of case it is in any way impartial. I prefer sharing serious journalistic sources.

(6,444 posts)27. BNR is owned by Clinton's ratfucker David Brock.
