George W. Bush, The Millard Filmore of the Grand Old Party

Millard Filmore was the last Whig President.

George W. Bush will be the last Republican President.

We're in for interesting times. I believe the Democratic Party will once again become the single party of power in the United States only to be replaced by a schism within that single party, as happened with the Jackson and Adams factions of the Democratic-Republicans of old.
