Kaine's not my favorite, but he's a "populist-leaning liberal" according to an analysis

of his record by ontheissues.org

So if he's the nominee, I hope people will stop calling him a right-winger. It's not a fair description of the man, who was a very popular Governor in Virginia.

Not who I wanted but if Hillary chooses Tim Kaine there's a damn good reason.

Oh they will stop calling him "a rwinger" if he's chosen.

He is from Virginia and Virginia is a very important state...they like sending native sons to the Washington as VP who may someday be president. Also, a Dem governor will appoint the next Senator in Virginia then we have a special election and we have a good chance of winning that seat. I like Sherrod Brown, but there is no guarantee a Dem will win his seat and Kasich will appoint a Republican.

He's not my first choice either, but I am very tired of this lie. Pro-choice is one of my big issues, and I'd be very angry if Hillary chose someone who was anti-choice.

Kaine has stated repeatedly that he's anti-abortion personally, but that he believes passionately that the issue should NOT be legislated. He has a 100% rating from Planned Parenthood.

Let's put this lie to bed. Telling lies to undermine likely Dem VP candidates only helps Trump.

Thank you for the link. Yes, in the past, he's been less pro-choice than he is now. I believe he is fully on board the Democratic Party's position now. I believe Hillary would not pick him if he weren't.
