12. I didn't even try, but couldn't even listen to the NPR recap this morning.

The couple bits that made it to my ears before I switched the station had me shaking my head.

I remember they opened with something about Trump saying (something like) the nation is awash in chaos and violence. As I moved quickly to change the station I was muttering to myself, yeah and HE's going to fix that? Wow. What a freakin' departure from reality.

8. I have to tip

my hat to my parents and to anyone else who had the stomach to sit through the Caterpillar-Haired One's entire speech. I overheard them listening to his speech while I was taking a bath, and I tried to drown it out with my music speakers.

My son still loves Bernie but this week has shown him what Hillary has been up against all this time. He won't have any trouble supporting her now.

13. To put it lightly,

they thought his speech made no sense and was filled with lies, and they were talking about how hateful and hypocritical those people in the audience are for supporting him and for acting as if they're the true Americans. I heard them yelling at the TV throughout the speech.
