From Reddit: A final response to "Tell me why Trump is a Fascist."

So, here's a post on Reddit:
https://m.reddit.com/r/EnoughTrumpSpam/comments/4teoxl/a_final_response_to_the_tell_me_why_trump_is_a/?st=iqunrok6&sh=ef9534c3&utm_source=mweb_redirect&compact=true

With an incredibly long and detailed list of answers to people trying to get you to show somehow that Trump is a fascist. I won't excerpt any of them, because there are SO MANY it's hard to even pick a few really good ones from among the crazy long list of articles, stories, and blogs.

There's also a pretty good discussion afterwards.

Anyway, this gives all of us plenty of ammo for anyone who feels like they might stay home this election, or alt-righters who think that Trump's just being strong. He's absolutely not, he's a straight up fascist. If the hatefest in Cleveland and some of the links on this list don't encourage people to GOTV, then I'm not sure what else to say.

What if that list doesn't make people shudder, nothing will. Drumpf wants to talk about fear, we have nothing to fear but Donald himself! Well, first and foremost anyway.

Who says that "Oh, we should let Trump win and THEN they'll see what they -REALLY- get."

No. No no no no no.

No.

This is the grand high poobah of bad ideas.

Are the least likely to be affected by it. It will be poor people, women, POC, LGBTQ, etc... the communities under the most threat that will be affected by a Trump presidency setting everything ablaze.

so called freedoms because they will always need to watch their backs, protect their riches and those who vote for him will be the most angry because he is lying his ass off. He seems to forget that white people have all races in their families too and this is not an all white country.

That is a superb list. Seeing the list of his threats (promises?) is a chilling reminder of just how out of control this person is. While reading it, I couldn't help but envision images of WWII dictators shouting at the crowds. I think the list should be sent to the Hillary campaign. Thank you for sharing it.

My only thought was, "Welp. No way for us to have -too much- ammo." Especially in light of the hate-a-thon that just finished in Cleveland!

I'm expecting the DNC to be as different from the RNC as the Democratic debates were from the Republican debates, so here's hoping that some calm and sanity takes the stage for a while.

I really had no idea how many different kinds of hate he has spouted out. Being he has no self-control, I think even HE would be shocked by how much crap he has said.

The debate moderators had better being using some of this stuff. Well, hopefully there will be debates. I get the feeling that he'll find some way to avoid them, the way he avoids releasing his tax returns.

The media also loves to report it as though it had any semblance of rationality:

Republican dude: "we need to incinerate gay people"
Media: *nod* strong words
Republican woman: *copied platitude*
Media: OMG CRUCIFY HER
