MSNBC just gave Trump another hour to "pontificate".

He says nothing, he had his running mate up there but I agree with people who say if he could he would run alone he would. He is the most narssicistic person I have ever seen.

He was hoping to jump on top of Hillary's VP announcement. MSNBC, all Donald, all the time.

So I personally don't have a huge problem with him getting more exposure.

For example, I understand he's still defending saying Cruz's dad killed JFK.

You can forget the old "Lean Forward" meme - they are now trying to outfox Fox.

is always hiding somewhere. I'm voting for her because I believe in the principles of the Democratic party, but I have to admire the fact that Trump can get in front of a mic and just talk ( and sometime answer questions). Hillary has been a coddled the last 30 years. From first lady Arkansas to Sec of State she has been chauffeured and protected like she's royalty all at the expense of tax payers. She needs to be on t.v more answering questions and speaking to the public. It can only help her.

after all the lying bullshit that's been thrown at her.

Trump was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and hasn't lifted a finger to help anybody but himself.

from speaking to media. I would like to see her do a press conference and just answer questions. That's all. Damn near everyday Trump is on tv bloviating about something. While Hillary does these rallies every other day that the networks may or may not pick up, and all disrespectfully will cut out of them the second Trump speaks. She just need to be more available for interviews.

And you act as if Trump has held an open press conference everyday, when that simply is not true. He's viciously attacked reporters and the press constantly.

I think Trump's obsession with the camera is a major downside. He talks too much and too often and makes a lot of mistakes, which Democrats can use against him. Though I think Hillary should be in the public eye a little more often, Trump is over-exposed. He had to show up every night of the convention, something no candidate ever does.

I don't see Hillary ever acting like royalty. She has been under attack for over 25 years and does have reason to be protective though. I remember when she was much younger and perhaps politically naive. She spoke her mind easily, without much restraint and the vultures went after her without mercy. She has every reason to be cautious. I am amazed at her resilience. I am a wimp, I would have redrawn from the public eye very early on.

to "on-the-spot coverage of bona fide news events (including but not limited to political conventions and activities incidental thereto)."

47 USC §315 (a)(4).

You can argue that this is not a "bona fide news event" but you'd almost certainly lose.

22. I'm so pissed with MSNBC
Fri Jul 22, 2016, 02:21 PM

It was more than an hour because I record all the programing at the beginning of the day just in case something interesting happens and when I took a look at it, it consumed an entire hour and went into a second hour.

I'm also pissed at them because they allow this jackass to tell one lie after another and don't even try to call him out on his lies. And if they do do any fact checking it long afterwards when no ones paying attention. Tuesday night after the Convention speeches ended, Andrea Mitchell sat down with the other anchors at the MSNBC booth and made a comment to the affect that "Wow, that's going to require a lot of fact checking". She then laughed and kicked off her shoes and began talking about something else. If you know that the Don and his ilk just told a bunch of lies, then call them out on it. The fact checking that was done was pitiful. For instance, last night on the last evening of the convention, about a half hour after it adjourned they mentioned that there would be a fact check coming up. About a half an hour later, the fact check guy comes on with a fact check regarding police killings being down from previous years and he labeled Trumps' claim as 'false'. He then said that there would be more fact checking to come. About a half hour later he returned with a second fact check. This one he said was somewhat misleading and labeled it a half truth. At the rate they are going they will never get around to revealing all the lies and half truths.

To make it simple they should simply run a public service announcement at the bottom of the tv screen everytime he speaks which warns the public on how to tell if he's lying: How do you know if Trump is lying? If his mouth is running.

His base may not care but the media's job is to point out to the public at large, that this man running for the highest office in the land is incapable of telling the truth. I'm sick of the press making statements about the public believing that Hillary is not honest and trustworthy while giving this liar a pass on a daily basis.
