Chuck Todd finally made a good point about the Veep pick.

Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren and Sherrod Brown will have more power in a Democratic Senate where they can introduce legislation and vote on SUPREME COURT JUDGES than they would sleeping in the Old Navel Observatory.

Evan Bayh is likely to win in Indiana but I don't consider him to be a Progressive. He is way to the right of Clinton.

Evan Bayh is what I always called a "majority-builder". He may not be much use, but he helps Pay Leahy become Judiciary Chairman, which ensures that our SCOTUS nominees get through.
