In October, she complained she was disinvited from a debate after she urged the party to hold more debates. Sanders later offered her a seat with his campaign.

The smaller space used for today's meeting was carefully guarded, to the disappointment of Sanders supporters. Dozens lined up and failed to get into the room, prompting chants of "open the doors" that security guards could not honor without packing even more people into a standing room-only venue.

Emphasis mine. The room was already packed. There are fire dept regulations about the number of people who can fit into one room. Is that so hard to understand?

(99,580 posts)And Bernie has nothing to do with the bad news cycle.
It seems strange you enjoy seeing our party turn it's back on transparency when that was the morning after the email dump.
You laugh does nothing to unite even the DU, let alone party. You might work on that. I want to win in Nov.
http://www.ksdk.com/news/politics/poll-trump-leads-clinton-in-mo-by-10-points/280772539
If the election were held today, Donald Trump would win in Missouri and the it would not be a close race.
That is according to a new SurveyUSA poll conducted exclusively for KSDK.
According to a survey of likely voters during and after the Republican National Convention Trump would win both with men and women in Missouri.
And that adds up to a 10-point win for Trump in the Show Me State. According to KSDKs SurveyUSA poll, Trump has an almost 20-point lead with men statewide in Missouri, while his lead with women in the state is only two points - which is within the margin of error of 1.6% for the poll.

(4,490 posts)I'm a bit confused as to what was going on and how these comitee meetings work.
BainsBane
(53,031 posts)Pay no attention to the fact they weren't elected to serve on that committee and create chaos, which can only help Trump win the presidency.
I'm sure Trump is greatful for their help, and they in turn can exact their revenge on the Democratic Party, and it's voting majority of women and people of color, they so resent. Why should they have to worry about something as trivial as majority rule, when they are certain they deserve power and privilege by birthright.
When people aren't self-entitled, they understand and they have to be elected to a committee to be seated.

(53,031 posts)It's a committee, not a fuckng rally or rock concert. The person tweeting isn't even a Democrat. Should Newt Gingrich be able to attend as well?
The last thing on earth I care about is what Trump humping ratfuckers like that tweeter think. They belong no where near the convention. It's for Democrats elected as Delegates, not Trump supporters. Jesus Christ.

(934 posts)The DNC should do EXACTLY what the Sanders campaign did when they were caught stealing data: repudiate the behavior, fire the two individuals involved, and move on.
If that response was ethical enough for Sanders, then it's ethical enough for DWS.

TDale313
(7,820 posts)"Oh, there are some emails that show them at times not totally screwing over the Sanders Camp" does not let them off the hook for the ones that do. The DNC are, as you point out, by their own damn rules, supposed to be impartial. We've seen plenty- even before these emails- that shows they were always biased.
annavictorious
(934 posts)This is very similar to (but not as serious as) the two rogue Sanders operatives who stole data back in February. The DNC should respond exactly the way the Sanders campaign responded to the data theft.
