Holy crap. He killed it.

I’m not trying to spin you. I’m sitting here in shock. Shock. Tim Kaine was unbelievable.

He was natural. He was smart. He was relaxed and funny, and he was serious. He was proud of himself and his wife and family but never arrogant. He was humble without ever being cloying in that way the politically humble can often be. He was genuine. He was unbelievable.

SNIP

I know the political science says vice presidents don’t matter. But politics is as much art as science. We just met an artist today

And here's Gail Collins on Pence:

But about Mike Pence. His speech is destined to be totally forgotten in the Cruzmania. But he did a grand job of returning the auditorium to the early-evening theme of sleepiness. Every single one of the Trump children turns out to be a more exciting speaker than the prospective vice-president. Tiffany’s story about how Donald wrote notes on her report cards suddenly took on new and compelling dimensions.

80% of Sanders convention delegates may vote to challenge Kaine as VP.
Per CSPAN interview with Norman Solomon a Sanders delegate.
He pretty much couldn't find a good thing to say about Sen Kaine.
Jeezus what a pathetic condemnation of a stellar man like Kaine.

Even E Warren who they really wanted for VP said Sen Kaine is a good man.

However he also said there isn't one single Sanders delegate who will vote for Trump.

Good thing they only hold the power to disrupt.
Wtf.

Kaine is clearly suited for standing by Clinton's side as VP.
They both have dedicated their adult lives to fair & equal rights.
They have walked more of the "walk" than half tbe delegates calling for "Not Kaine".

We may have never needed the Super D's more than this election.
That's pathetic but not surprising.
