2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumWhy would anybody feel loyalty to DWS?
She had no achievements as DNC chair.
And she probably hurt HRC's chances by being as heavy-handed towards Bernie and his campaign.
A lot of Clinton supporters I know locally don't like her.
Seriously, why would anyone have backed the idea of DWS staying in the job?

(50,254 posts)Can't for the life of me figure why anyone would bother.
She didn't even help HRC running things like that.

(80,708 posts)It's really unfathomable. She's done such a bad job, she couldn't have alienated more people if she tried, she went to the times and bad-mouthed a demographic we are going to need in November...
it's weird.

What could there possibly be to defend in DWS' record.
If she was competent, we wouldn't have lost the Senate in 2014. It's up to the DNC to make sure the base is fired up and the election machinery is working.
She was never on your side on fighting bigotry. She was never there for YOU at all.
Why bother defending her.
I don't hate her...I just think she needed to go.

(50,254 posts)And I think it would have been no biggie if they'd just have waited until the convention was over to announce the campaign hiring.
