(14,167 posts)Switched to C-span and the whole atmosphere was different. MSNBC is stirring the pot.

(45,251 posts)And if anyone failed to see it flying then, I don't know how they could have missed it when they kept jerking Ed Shultz around before firing him.

(3,072 posts)I'm watching CSPAN. Sounds like there are some conversations going on and people yelling words of encouragement but no mass protests. I can't tell if all the protests were being exaggerated, if they have calmed down, or if they have been compleatly drowned out but I am seeing none of the extreme chaos that MSNBC is claiming.

(6,716 posts)I'm keeping it on C-SPAN.

(3,072 posts)Was it all exaggerated, have people calmed down, or are they just completely outnumbered now?

(3,072 posts)I think I may have heard one faint, quick boo when someone said something about hillary but I'm not sure. If it was, it was 1 person in the entire hall.

(80,708 posts)There was some noise early today but it has stopped. Nothing like the shit that went down in Cleveland.
We are united and anyone who is trying to pick fights among Democrats, well, we know which side they're on.

(24,396 posts)I don't need Rachel or any other talking head interpreting what I'm seeing and hearing. I'll believe my lying eyes and ears, thank you.

(80,708 posts)I stopped watching Cable "News" during the 2004 election. That was the point at which I had enough.

(128,867 posts)Had bopped back and forth between CNN & MSNBC during the day and saw what they were doing and at showtime this afternoon, moved to CSPAN. Have been there done that with how they need to create controversy so they can discuss it and fill air time rather than show the proceedings.
