Donald Trump Spent His Night Threatening Cory Booker, Insulting ‘Pocahontas’ Warren

As the first night of the Democratic National Convention built from conflicted chaos to a triumphant crescendo with a well-engineered speech by Bernie Sanders, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump did what he does, but not particularly well. While the Democrats gradually got their unity on in Philadelphia, Trump fired off a series of lackluster tweets with mostly-familiar themes, but beginning with this weird veiled threat against New Jersey Senator and formerly buzzed-about Democratic VP contender Cory Booker:
