and most of us would be offended if our emails were publicized like that, or any of our correspondence not made public. Then to be judged on it when others aren't being is rather unjust.

The reporting is more measured, and they seem to be questioning the timing and motives of Assange.

to some family members. They dismissed it and didn't care. Hard to understand how hatred of Democrats overrides a avowed enemy of the US infiltrating our democratic institutions.

15. NY TIMES: Assange, Avowed Foe of Clinton, Timed Email Release

for Democratic Convention. (Nailed!!!)

Assange is obviously also a foe of the Democratic Party and of the United States. Btw, his arguments against Hillary are extremely unconvincing, except that she at one time supported his prosecution. Otherwise, I bet if you scratch this guy you find much the typical far-left murky, smelly hill-hate brew. He's willing to chance giving the U.S. military, including nuclear codes, to Trump, who has promised to use them in a number of ways that mean widespread torture and murder, because she's a war hawk. Umhm.

I can understand some who've been angry at the DNC all along wishing there weren't this "distraction" of attention from it, much less an introduction of the question of whether the emails were tampered with.

But they really need to get over it. This attack on the elections and sovereignty of the United States is an attack on them too.

And certainly doesn't excuse the emails. Not a fan of "I didn't think anyone would see what I wrote" defense.

More dirty tricks? What will October bring? Snopes seems confused as to the real truth about who really stole these e-mails.

If any of this is true, then the NSA will have know choice but to deny Trump his daily briefings next Monday.

16. That's all Wikileaks does: fence stolen goods.

They click a button to push them onto the Internet then call it a day. As Assange said about informants: they're disposable, they deserve whatever happens to them. I say the same about Wikileaks fencers. No sympathy from me.
