Especially hearing all the corny but fun Board-of-Tourism pitches and the home-state/home-team bragging and pride.

I want the states polled at every convention. It's a very meaningful ceremony.

and nothing from the kibitzers in the back.

Gotta say it again: So long as you continue to watch, they'll have no incentive to change. They only understand money.

If you have to have analysis, find it after the event's over, and get it from those who have given their ideas considered thought. But why in the world does anyone need play-by-play for something being played out transparently before them? And who in world requires color commentary of something you can assess yourself?

The roll call is my favorite part of nominating conventions and so I didn't want to hear bullshit from the Corporate Media. I'm hearing that even CNN did not talk over the roll call; they just cut to commercial when necessary.

Day after day, people watch that shit channel and then run here to tell us how much they hate that shit channel. Here's a novel idea... TURN THAT SHIT OFF.
You're welcome.

Fuck MSNBC and CNN, their pundits and charts and countdowns and all the other bullshit they do to earn their bloated salaries. Fuck their false equivalancies their fucking horse races.

I don't need Rachel or Hewitt or some other talking head to interpret what I just saw with my own eyes and ears.
