Bloomberg is going to savage Trump

Bloomberg is going to savage Trump

There are those “New York values” that Senator Ted Cruz once derisively accused Trump of holding dear – though not so dear that he hasn’t laid them aside to court the yahoo vote. Bloomberg, on the other hand, seems to genuinely believe that there is strength in diversity.

“Threatening to bar foreign Muslims from entering the country is a direct assault on two of the core values that gave rise to our nation: religious tolerance and the separation of church and state,” he wrote in March. “Attacking and promising to deport millions of Mexicans, feigning ignorance of white supremacists, and threatening China and Japan with a trade war are all dangerously wrong, too. These moves would divide us at home and compromise our moral leadership around the world. The end result would be to embolden our enemies, threaten the security of our allies, and put our own men and women in uniform at greater risk.”

A trade war with China and other countries would also be bad for the business of Bloomberg LP, which leases its financial-data terminals to firms around the world. And as countries become more financially sophisticated, the more their financial sectors need up-to-the-minute data from Bloomberg or Reuters.

China especially is a frequent Trump target.

Like, one of those long-running, white-hot-rage feuds that city politics seems to produce like nothing outside of academia.

...Trump has no friends or pull to speak of, because he's such an ugly representative of the moneyed set—primarily because he goes so out of his way to overstate his status and makes the REAL top bananas look like jerks.

I had a talk with a major developer in NYC about three months ago. A REAL baller who shall remain nameless here, but he commented on the building we were both in—a landmark major holding and he said the following to me after someone came up to him and shook his hand, complimenting him on NOT being a Trump-type:

“The thing that people don't understand is that guys who have REAL money? They don't pussy-foot around with slapping their names on steaks, and water, and having some shrub ghost write crappy books they slap their names on.”

“The big boys are too busy managing what they have—reinvesting it, and THEN giving enough it away to mitigate taxes by putting their name on a hospital wing or funding a library renovations or something like that. This clown (he used that word) is worth a tenth of what he claims, and of that, his liquid funds are a quarter still. Let him go talk to Robert Kraft of Mark Cuban...those guys own major sports teams. THAT'S real money. This guy calls to go sit in their stadiums luxury boxes. But he wants everybody to think he's Warren Buffet.” (He moves closer to whisper) “He's more of a Warren Bullsh*t”. (I nearly choked trying not to laugh out loud)

Bloomberg is an *sshole, but he's a REAL baller. (Getting a sizable chunk of his dough from selling financial management software to Wall Street types AND the firms that employ them)

He HATES Trump like theives hate pedos in jail.
