Trump says he ‘never met Putin’ — despite bragging about meeting him just last year

-snip-

In an interview with Florida news station CBS4 Miami, Trump denied he had any business dealings with Russia and even went so far as to say that he’d never met Putin. “I have nothing to do with Russia, nothing to do, I never met Putin, I have nothing to do with Russia whatsoever,” he told the station.

This is interesting because during a debate last year, Trump explicitly said that he’d met Putin while the two of them were set to appear on 60 Minutes.

“I got to know him very well because we were both on 60 Minutes, we were stablemates,” said Trump at the time.

Additionally, The Hill notes that Donald Trump Jr. told a 2008 real estate conference that “Russians make up a pretty disproportionate cross-section of a lot of our assets.”

he's shattering records for dishonesty. Easily the most dishonest candidate since fact-checking has started. The only person close has been Ted Cruz. With W, a lot of his BS was half-true. With Trump, it's usually just outright BS

They need to hack the tax returns and put them up all over. They need to pay the Russians' back for their manipulation of them by going after the one who will turn them loose to ravage Eastern Europe. Of course, this is my dream, I have no ideas how they feel about Drumpf or the Ruskies.

Why idn't any of the reporters CALL HIM on either of these things? Ask him point blank why he said he had gotten to know him "very well" as his stablemate and now denied ever having met him? And why did they not bring up the point of his son saying money was pouring in from Russia and let Trump say he had nothing to do with Russia financially? It's so depressing to have a press like this.

Trump is not credit-worthy enough to get loans from US banks.

At the same time his debt load has ballooned from mid $200 Meg to $690 million.

There is something or many things really damning hidden in those returns.

Could be one of or all of:

* Loans from Russian oligarchs

* Net worth a lot less than he wants us to believe

* Charity donation scams

* Offshore accounts / offshore manufacturing

* Paid ridiculously low taxes

are the 2 things that I think are keeping the taxes hidden. He's crow about not paying taxes, how smart he is, etc. so don't think that's an issue to him. The other 2 could prevent him from being president.

60 Minutes did segments on both Putin and Trump the same night.

Of course they had nothing to do with each other, but since Trump also watched the Putin segment he thinks they are now connected, and he "knows" Putin.

He is an imbecile.

She and my sister both have decided that Trump is the answer to all our prayers.

I email my mom everything I can find that exposes Trump's true character. I've tried having an actual discussion with her, but that doesn't go very well. At any rate, her response to anything that doesn't agree with her point of view is that it must be made-up by the media. It's sad, but I think a lot of people are seduced by his appeal to fear.

(Talking to my sister about Trump is out of the question; there's no hope of having a rational discussion with her, because she believes that if you disagree with her, you're the enemy. If we do end up in a right-wing dictatorship, I firmly expect her to denounce me as a liberal professor out to pollute young minds. No sarcasm intended.)

There's not much more I can do to convince them. They're so opposed to Hillary (to say nothing of Bernie), that they would probably vote Mussolini into office. Oh wait...
