A few things about the Bernie/Hillary supporters' hurt feelings I hope can help

First, people who support Hillary are not blind to her flaws. The primaries weren't really a battle between those who could see them and those who couldn't but a battle between opposing strategies to defeat Republicans. One side favored a purist approach. And the other, a strong show of unity despite imperfections.

Again, these are strategy concerns and differences for defeating Republicans, not blindness to unresolved policy inconsistencies.

Secondly, it's not like people who supported Hillary throughout the primaries didn't like Sanders.

Hillary supporters love Bernie and I doubt they would have been upset if he had gotten the nomination. That's something to remember when you accuse the DNC of corruption.

Everyone likes Bernie. I have never heard one Hillary supporter proclaim they would have been disappointed with a Bernie nomination.

But not everyone extended the same treatment to Hillary.

And Hillary supporters are still welcoming to Bernie. Who on the Left doesn't want to see Bernie's vision play out for America? We all knew we probably had a better chance of defeating Trump with Bernie at the helm than Hillary. So what would be the point and motive in deliberately fixing the nomination against someone so liked and strong as Bernie?

All Democrats love Bernie.

That's all I have to say.

the things they deem important. Having said that, in terms of experience for an office that has such a broad job role, Clinton wins hands down. Some people can't or won't accept that but given the first 8 years of this century, our aging population and the impact of women's vote in this election-people just aren't fucking around.

What would you call it? There's seems to be bitter feelings between their supporters. I can always change the subject line.

There is only a small handful of malcontents among each candidate's supporters. And no, not all of the Hillary supporters love Bernie; some really awful things were said about him right here on DU. That said, it's time to move on and let the malcontents get over it. Or not.

nomination. I did not and do not dislike Bernie and if he won I would have voted for him. I am not going to re-litigate the primary but I do disagree with some of your points.

I am happy with the way the primaries turned out.

Did you have any issues with the policies Bernie endorsed?

You don't rehash your positions, yes or no will do.

Your recollection is different than some and even if you're trying to promote unity in your post, they may not see it that way.

So - let's stop talking about the primary.

We have an election to win.
