Katie_McGintyHours before taking the stage for the biggest speech of her life, Katie McGinty got a huge boost from the latest Suffolk University poll.
The poll shows McGinty – who is set to speak at the Democratic National Convention around 5:30 Thursday night – with a 7-point advantage over GOP Sen. Pat Toomey.
McGinty leads with female voters by 16 points over the incumbent, 48-32, while Toomey edges Gov. Tom Wolf’s former chief of staff with male voters 40-38, according to the poll.

her home city. I hear nothing but Toomey commercials. I will need to be this city to take Toomey out.

Maybe she is trying to save funds for a bigger splash after Labor Day.

He does seem to have more ads and they are shown often though. He has all that Koch money.

We'll need to encourage straight-ticket voting to make sure she gets the votes from here.

outside of the SE is not good. She needs to run ads in the west to build that up. Her running ads in the expensive Philly media market would be silly. She's going to get plenty of support thanks to down ticket balloting in a Presidential year. She'll win something like 52-48 with Clinton 54-46.
