2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumTrue story: when I was 7, I told my aunt that I was going to be the first woman president.
She quickly tried to explain that it wasn't going to happen.
"Oh honey, no. Sure you can be President, but you have to be at least 35 before you can run, and, realistically at least 45 or 50 before you're really qualified. By the time you are old enough to be president, we will have had lots of women presidents. So you won't be the first."
Thus did my political ambition die. That was in1978.

If it makes you feel better, in 1978 I was going to be a Catholic priest or a rock n roll singer. I didn't have anyone crush my dream of being a priest however...that was puberty.

Ditto that with the priest thing.... I'm just not into young boys. Heyo! Sorry, sorry, sorry. I couldn't help myself. It wrote itself.
