One thing for next convention, however, is to reform the delegate selection process.

People who are chosen as delegates to the convention should have to have some kind of track record with the party. This was in fact ridiculous. They should have at least some measure of respect for the institution and what it stands for.

This is the first time I can recall such....difficulties with delegates. The Jackson delegates didn't act like that. Neither did the Brown delegates.

I switched my registration from Green to Democrat in order to vote for and support Bernie. But I am not a "party person" and instead will work with parties in the manner the best helps propel the issues that matter.

Delegates to the DNC ought to be provable Democrats who are loyal to the PARTY and able to trusted to act like adults if their candidate loses.

A real campaign would have vetted their drlegates. There were some unstable sanders delegates in the texas delegation who caused problems.

The clinton delegates were well vetted. The sanders campaign failed ro vet their delegstes at all. Or the ssnders campaign verring process weeded out sane delegates bthe texas sanders csmpsign removed a delegate because the delegate was too sane

candidate who has been well-vetted, that candidate's campaign will in turn vet their delegates well.

The problem this time appears to have been more with the candidate's campaign and is just another reason why NO Dem candidate for US President should be considered "vetted" unless that candidate has been a party member for at least more than a month prior to announcing their candidacy.

Never again.
