It was late on the East coast and he probably heard the speech 100 times by that point. Who cares. I love that optics is the new buzzword of the week. Still very smart of Tim Kaine

He's also watched for decades, of course, the media's hostile coverage of the Clintons.

Reminds me of when Chelsea, a teenager in college at the time, spotted a TV camera on them at a gathering and as calmly as Kaine gently encouraged her mom's arm down out of sight because she was holding a wine glass. (Lock her up!) Also a pro.
