To me, if Stein and Johnson really care about this country they will throw their support to HRC,

This is dangerous times and too important to chance a Trump Presidency. No matter what Hillary has done with e-mails or talking to Wall Street it pales in the face of what a Trump Presidency will mean to this country.

We're going to have to win by beating Donald Trump. The Libertarian Party will steal Republican votes from him, and Jill Stein's voters won't matter enough to bother with attacking her.

A positive GOTV campaign for Hillary is the answer.

GOTV for Hillary and Kaine!

Stein is a crazy person, a conspiracy theorist. She's a lost cause and won't end up breaking 1% as usual. Listen to her for ten minutes. She's a lunatic.

Johnson and Weld are serious, smart, civil people. I disagree with most of their plans but support some of them. I would completely trust them with the nuclear codes. They could get 9 or 10% of voters who would otherwise go for Trump and who won't vote for Hillary.

I seriously doubt the small faction of holdout busters would go libertarian but even if they do it pales in comparison with disaffected republican white men, who love that privatization line of bull.

That's millions of people. It virtually guarantees Hillary a win if they can break into 7-10% territory. We ought to support Johnson being in debates and on polling choices and treat him with respect.

Hell if Johnson gets a tailwind we could win friggin Utah. Most places the diehard busters would go for Johnson (because of legal weed primarily) are states HRC wins anyway.

I respect their right to run. The more voices, the better, imo.

Smug in their superiority.

Just like the liberal democrats and communists were in Germany before Hitler and the nazis seized total control.

They could have banded together and stopped him but they all were too pure to do that.

They were hoping Hitler would bring the "revolution" like Sarandon. He brought it alright. It didn't work out the way they thought it would...

altogether?

This is DU and neither is a Dem or a Dem supporter. Johnson is a Libertarian and, as such, will likely get more votes than Stein and those will mostly be to Trump's deficit. Stein loves it when we mention her at all. She has zero credibility among the overwhelming majority of voters everywhere and even less exposure. So let's quit giving her any more. Please.

The Real Enemy is Trump. Period.

A small percentage would be swayed, perhaps, but most of their supporters are third party ideologues committed to voting for their party, regardless.
