Hillary Clinton has a serious problem.

I was just having an argument with a friend about Donald and Hillary doing good things. She posted a couple of links about Donald Trump helping Jennifer Hudson and her family and flying that kid to the hospital. So, I started googling stuff like "Hillary helps" and "Hillary saved".

HOLY SHIT. The front page responses when you google pretty much anything about Hillary are appalling!! Pretty much you get campaign stuff from her campaign and a TON of hate blogger stuff.

I think that's a problem. A lot of people who don't know anything about Hillary may try to find out about her by using Google and a lot of what they are going to get is going to be really ugly stuff.

Or is that a problem? Am I just being paranoid?

Few voters are going to Google her and judge her from the dumb white males that dominate hate speech on the Internet.

pejorative/negative-sounding second term and come up with pages of hits on "Hillary" with the negative term. The genuine hits on my search terms are pushed way down. It's very bad.

4. It depends a lot on the source of the info.

If someone is going to use google to get info about a public figures, I'm going to assume they already know to check the source. Obvviously, if the info comes from "RED STATE.COM" and the subject is a Dem, you need to be very suspect. Similar, if your checking on a Pub and the info is coming from "DAILY KOS", you should check some other sources before you believe what you read.

It's like a hobby of mine. I can tell you right now, most people have NO CLUE what a credible source is. NONE.

Hell, most people seem to feel that "I think" is enough.

I post a lot of stuff from Politifact and Factcheck.org and get told that those are liberal sites all the time.

I get the eyerolling emoji, but you need to translate 'offs'. I get that you are intending to project that you are superior to me and that my post is stupid, but I don't get the acronym.

Killed someone. The funny thing is that he and his wife will not vote for Trump. They might even vote for Hillary. They are hard core Republicans.

I just sent them an email suggesting that they add links to fact based articles about Hillary Clinton. Hopefully they will do that - then we would have one place to go to access the articles to counter right wing lies.
