GOP county Pennsylvania committeemen quit, won't back Trump

Berks county is a key swing county in the suburbs of Philly.

READING, Pa. (AP) — Three Republican committee members in an eastern Pennsylvania county have quit, saying they can't support Donald Trump as the party's presidential nominee.

The Reading Eagle (http://bit.ly/2aKcwRG ) reports William Cinfici, John Fielding and Connor Kurtz quit the Berks County Republican Committee on Monday.

All three men say they disagree with Trump's policies and say doesn't uphold Republican principles and is unfit to be president.

Kurtz called Trump "an unstable wannabe strongman" and quoted President Abraham Lincoln in resigning saying, "A house divided against itself cannot stand." Kurtz also says, "The modern Republican Party would have done well to apply Lincoln's logic to our own party."

If he can't win Berks, Bucks, Montgomery and Delaware counties are likely non-viable for Trump too. And that's, pretty much game, set, match for Trump in PA.

In the last couple of days I've been hearing a lot about Gary Johnson and that's a good thing because I'm hearing it from former Trump supporters.
