(1,238 posts)From either side. Don't want or need to hear other peoples one sided opinions on news. Cenk and his non-sense included.
Usually, I just read a piece of news online from different sources and then read the discussions people have and form an opinion from that.

A pompous jerk. I can't imagine getting my news from him.

(47,209 posts)Pompous and outraged.
Glad I've never watched him!

(10,893 posts)crazy, but he's definitely self-righteous. It seems like he's rarely satisfied no matter what Obama or the Dems do in spite of GOP obstruction, and it didn't sit well with me in 2012 on his CurrentTV show when he called the Libertarian Gary Johnson a "true progressive". It sounded like a cheap jab at Obama. I don't rely on news from him. I sometimes watch MSNBC, but I try to find more accurate and less slanted news articles online. BBC has been reliable for international news, and I liked watching C-SPAN during the Democratic Convention.

(7,626 posts)There is a short list of people and topics that are unimportant to me and I just don't pay attention to for quite some time
That guy is on there, and interesting to note he remains inconsequential along with the rest

(27,978 posts)He is educated, a liberal (although not really left), and in a minority demographic. He parrots all of Cenk's anti-HRC stuff.
TYT doesn't even come from a liberal-left platform.
I don't get it.

(1,438 posts)No thanks, his behavior during the primaries was abhorrent.

(114,904 posts)don't find the program of much interest.
I get my news from the print world and specific writers- John Cassidy of the New Yorker, Charlie Pierce, Doyle McManus of the L.A. Times, Adam Gopnik also from the New Yorker. I read The Atlantic.
I've never even seen Morning Joe or watched the Maddow show. I do, very occasionally these days, listen to NPR. I like Tom Ashbrook's On Point.
I also read the NYT and I'm having a lot of fun reading The NY Daily News.

(47,803 posts)Sometimes I agree with him, sometimes I disagree. ....Sometimes, he gets a little too crude, IMO.
But overall, he does add a needed and valid perspective to the mix. He's as reliable as the fat-cat pundits and corporate spokespeople who pass for dispensers of "analysis." in the MSM.

(55,334 posts)yes he is silly, and a little bit pompous .
But he has to keep it entertaining to keep his business alive, and I do agree with him on the issues about 80-90% of the time

(466 posts)I find him very reasonable. Recently he's pointing out how Trump is a threat to out Republic, which I agree with. I don't know anyone else on television going that far. What has he attacked Clinton or Obama on that people find so egregious? It seems to be part of a big questions liberal and progressives have had since 2009: how much do you criticize the Democrats?
That said I think some TYT members are off the rails. Bernie or Bust types.
