3. I hear on media "he looked like a statesman" in Mexico

I thought he looked like a messy schlump, standing awkwardly, contrasting negatively beside the handsome, trim Mexican President.

4. At one point, I thought he looked like a very sleepy zombie

Honestly, that was one of the worst political stunts, ever. The backfire could probably be heard in Canada.

What? He didn't unzip his pants? He didn't use any four letter words? He didn't try out his fake Mexican accent?

I thought he looked like he was stoned.

12. Clinton campaign should have been commenting the whole time...whether or not

he actually said something stupid or unzipped his pants shouldn't be allowed to be a victory for him and his acolytes. Could have said that we're happy he didn't embarrass himself and our nation while in Mexico, this time. We were worried because, you know, you never can tell with him. Like a toddler in a restaurant, sometimes it goes well but most of the time the food ends up on the floor and everyone around is pissed off.

7. i've made that analogy before, but it's actually an insult to the kardashians
Fri Sep 2, 2016, 12:16 PM
Sep 2016

from a business/financial perspective, the kardashians have accomplished more with far less of a head start than trump did. trump appears to have underperformed the s&p. meaning he literally would be richer now if he had never worked a day in his life and just invested his inheritance.

and the kardashians did it without ever filing for bankruptcy or, afaik, breaking contracts, underpaying suppliers, etc.

8. I can agree with that (reluctantly)

I suspect if Trump had listened to people who know what they are doing (much like I suspect the Kardashians have) he'd probably not be so stroppy about releasing his income tax information or have had nearly the skeevy financial history.

9. i think a lot of the savvy comes from bruce (now caitlyn) jenner

jenner's victory lap with an fan's american flag was a stroke of marketing genius.

he was the first olympian (if not athlete generally) to really become an endorsement powerhouse.
