(2,897 posts)Even if you have to drive back. You can make a difference by helping to grow the narrative the media is avoiding. And post it here as well. That will start the ball rolling.
expose those assholes. They want it both ways, doing their African-American and Latino "outreach" and then flying their confederate flags.
Fuck them. That makes me so angry.

Mr.Bill
(24,244 posts)And I don't have a decent camera and don't know how to post pictures. They were also selling/displaying T-shirts that had a picture of an assault rifle with the slogan "I don't call 911".

Mr.Bill
(24,244 posts)I have never taken a digital picture in my life, and I probably have not talked on a cell phone for more than about two hors total in my life. I have one, but rarely carry it or use it.
okasha
(11,573 posts)please carry it. It could save a life in an emergency.

Mr.Bill
(24,244 posts)This was an official Trump campaign booth.
Also not all that surprising, but you'd think someone would be smart enough to intervene, at least for PR sake.

(36,383 posts)Or was it a rouge outfit operating independent of the local Republican party?
Mr.Bill
(24,244 posts)in going up to the guy and talking to him. He did have Trump campaign literature and campaign materials like bumper stickers and signs. Local Democratic candidates at nearby booths indicated to me he was official.
One thing I did notice at most political booths was they weren't quite giving stuff away like they always do. They were asking for "donations" in specific amounts for campaign materials. My wife paid $1 for a Hillary button, for instance.
Brother Buzz
(36,383 posts)And it's an OPEN seat this year! I can't believe that wacko libertarian/teabagger/republican, Charlie Schaupp, didn't have a banner prominently displayed in the both if it was a genuine republican sanctioned operation.
Mr.Bill
(24,244 posts)Or like other local candidates he may have had his own booth and I just didn't see it.
Brother Buzz
(36,383 posts)I wonder if the inept 'Official Trump booth' idiots blundered and forgot to ask the down ticket candidates to get involved, or the down ticket candidates simply chose to quietly distance themselves from the Trump campaign, "Thanks, but no thanks".
Mr.Bill
(24,244 posts)greatly favor the Democratic candidate.

And now the ass, who's deep into the Tobacco industry's pocket, is running for State Senate. Bummer, you don't get to vote against him because you're in a different senate district.

(24,244 posts)And Northern California will overwhelmingly vote for Hillary. The red counties way up north and inland don't have enough population to matter much. There are housing tracts in Silicon Valley with larger populations than some of the red counties.
