Reading the FBI Report on Clinton’s Email

Kevin Drum read the entire FBI report on Hillary Clinton’s email:

That said, this report is pretty much an almost complete exoneration of Hillary Clinton. She wasn’t prohibited from using a personal device or a personal email account, and others at state did it routinely. She’s told the truth all along about why she did it. Colin Powell did indeed advise her about using personal email shortly after she took office, but she chose to follow the rules rather than skirt them, as Powell did. She didn’t take her BlackBerry into her office. She communicated with only a very select group of 13 people. She took no part in deciding which emails were personal before handing them over to State. She had nothing to do with erasing information on the PRN server. That was a screw-up on PRN’s end. She and her staff all believed at the time that they were careful not to conduct sensitive conversations over unclassified email systems. And there’s no evidence that her server was ever hacked.

There’s remarkably little here. If you nonetheless believe that it’s enough to disqualify Hillary from the presidency, that’s fine. I have no quarrel with you. But if the FBI is to be believed, it’s all pretty small beer.

is going along with trump and pushing the "i don't recall" 30 something times.

She doesn't recall how many times she used her authority to classify documents. She doesn't recall sending or recieveing email that she thought should have been classified. She remembered a meeting, but didn't recall all the specifics of said meeting.

IOW they are painting her don't recalls as an avoidance of truth and/or bad memory as a sign of ill health. In the real world, how many people remember specifics of a meeting they had 4 -6 years ago. Who recalls how many emails they got between 2008 and 2013.

Then the FBI tried to pull a fast one on her and insert a Classified Header and footer on an email. Her answer was...I don't recall seeing that on the email and why is it considered classified?

to classify or declassify any state department document. They implied that she had incorrectly not classified a state document -- but know that she, as the head of state, had the full authority to make the decision, with only the President/VP having greater authority. The FBI and the CIA don't get to overrule another agency head's classification decisions, even if they disagree.

I was thinking the same thing. Big fucking deal because the media because the media don't want it over yet, so they won't report shit. It's all about the money.

What bothers me is that we know DJT's minions will wait in line for hours to vote. Will this hurt our less committed troops to do the same?

the media continues to pound her on this issue. The FBI did not find anything criminal with their investigation. They recommended no prosecution. Yet, with the urging of the partisan right-wing Republicans, the media simply refuses to let it go.

But, they cannot wait to report on Donald Trump's "outreach" to the black voters.

They are becoming more and more worthless with each passing day.
