I know they talked about questionable donations that she took from foreign nations
and super wealthy foreigners for her foundation but have never heard her called a crook
as in she was embezzling money donated ?

Trump is trying to create the perception that Hillary is dishonest. The media plays along by writing and reporting what Donald Trump says.
