Why I still think MSNBC is better than CNN...

First, JOY! There is no equivalent to her on CNN. Plus, she is becoming more and more visible. GO JOY!!

Second, on MSNBC we don't have to listen to rabid Rump surrogates, such as Boris and Katrina, 24/7. Yeah, MSNBC has some jerks on, but nothing as bad as these Rump lunatics.

The weekend lock up stuff. I can see cutting costs and not airing does save money, but why not repeat highlights of the week for those who work during the week and AT LEAST do weekends during primary and general every 4 years.

So far I only see a little bright light from them at the end of the day and even those folks seem to be forced to include the "republican point of view on every issue.

Right now Joy is unique not only on MSNBC but in the whole media landscape. The only place I see anything comparable is some of the left talk radio shows like Stephanie Miller and Thom Hartmann and Michael Singliore.

Sure wish Ed Schultz was back on MSNBC, but he committed the grave mistake of calling out corporations.

And the weekend prison crap is pretty awful.

Until recently MSNBC was famous for depending liberal pablum just as FOX News was famous for putting out conservative pablum. However, since they were losing viewers and a lot of money, MSNBC is currently to be more "balanced".

Consider that when you say you like a particular person it is probably because he/she is telling you want to hear. That can mean you aren't hearing the entire truth. But if you can't deal with the entire truth..... well that would make you like FOX viewers, wouldn't it?

Also watch for Tamron, Thomas, Craig, Rachel, Lawrence, and Chris H.

But I will flip to CNN to avoid Chris M., Mark Halpern (on WADR), and just about any Trump surrogate.

I miss the days of true journalists who strove to be unbiased in their work. Most non-advert content of newspapers were good reporting. The editors had a page and opposite to it was a page for columnist and readers' letters.

Now it is the reverse. Print and electronic media is mostly opinions with very little actual news reporting.

You know, Who, What, Where, How, Why? What we get is, "If you don't think what I'm telling you, you're too stupid to live.

Rant over.

She has her Saturday and Sunday shows, plus some late night work on MSNBC, and then her show yesterday afternoon which I thought was one of her best.

When does this woman eat and sleep?

When I watch MSNBC I get the feeling of being in a room with with like minded people...no bueno.

When I watch FOX my blood pressure goes up..no bueno.

When I watch a political speech or live legislation on the capital floor on CSPAN without a panel of pundits dissecting and spinning it one way or another I come to my own conclusion.

While I think I am seeing a post Labor Day switch - coverage depends more on the on air talent than anything else. It does seem like overall CNN is shifitng more pro-Trump and M$NBC is shifting a bit more pro-Clinton post Labor Day, but it also depends greatly on who you are watching.

There are plenty of TV news celebrities that are just plain in-watchable on both networks. As much as I like M$NBC's seemingly progressive friendly talent - I'd really prefer real journalists reporting facts instead news celebrities trotting out dozens of campaign surrogates to muddy the waters and attack both candidates - not on the issues but on a thousand rediculous innuendos. Add to that the real vendettas of some talent like Andrea Mitchell and it looks like what you have is a swamp filled with vipers and the occasional island of journalistic sanity.

The real question is - do Americans have to turn to foreign news sources to get unbiased reporting on the facts of this election?
