Explain This To Me Like I'm a 3rd Grader - Clinton's Emails

I consider myself to be a political junkie of the first rank...Yet, I'm mystified why the Clinton emails are "dribbling" out at a pace which will cover the remainder of the campaign. The whole email "scandal" seems custom made to make Hillary look bad right up until November.

Can someone explain to me why her emails cannot be released in mass instead of this drip, drip, drip?

Maybe you can also tell me why Hillary isn't addressing the email issue(s) with a clear a concise response. The same goes for the Clinton Foundation "scandal."

Is it time for her to hold a full on pressor?

My fear is that the email "scandal" and the Clinton Foundation "scandal" is taking its toll on the Hillary campaign.

On Edit: Sorry, I'm just getting a little nervous.

before they can be released to the public. It's a very time consuming effort.

Hillary Clinton has addressed both of these issues thoroughly and completely. The problem is that the press is still clueless.

About coming clean - I don't think they should. There is nothing there.

For a third grader, you seem to have explained the situation quite well on your own.

As for your suggestion of what Mrs Clinton should do, she already has.

Apropos no one in particular, but those who will not hear will never be satisfied

Judicial Watch's Pursuit of Clinton Goes Too Far

https://www.bloomberg.com/view/articles/2016-09-04/judicial-watch-s-pursuit-of-clinton-goes-too-far

The Clintons have been subject to fishing expeditions before, but why is a federal court making Hillary Clinton give sworn responses now to questions about her use of a private e-mail server back when she was secretary of state? This all stems from a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit brought by a conservative group seeking State Department information about Clinton’s aide Huma Abedin. With a series of permissive rulings, the judge has allowed the suit to get out of hand. It’s now an inquiry into Clinton’s motives in using her private server -- something well beyond the contemplation of the freedom of information laws.

Judicial Watch, which initiated the suit, is a founding member of Hillary Clinton’s “vast right-wing conspiracy.” Founded by the lawyer Larry Klayman and given early funding by conservative billionaire Richard Mellon Scaife (remember him?), it brought some choice lawsuits against Bill Clinton back in the 1990s. Its favored method is the FOIA suit.

The latest iteration was filed in 2013 against the State Department, seeking information about the employment of Abedin, at one time Clinton’s deputy chief of staff at State and a magnet for Clinton conspiracy theorists.

snip

That’s how the current suit started -- and for a moment, ended. After the State Department gave Judicial Watch the documents it was seeking, the two sides agreed to have the case dismissed in 2014.

darling....get nowhere

Her/His strategy to just lay low and play defense is the most stupid idea ever. And, it could be her demise. Successful politicians play offense. They come up with a strong series of arguments and blast them everywhere, everyday, and all surrogates are on the same page.

" I had a group of lawyers determine what was personal and what wasn't ! And 60,000 is quite a task ! "

"Back in 2009-2010 the world was different than today. You trusted the IT experts. We can't look at this through 2016 eyes where cyber security is known by all"

"It was the exact same set up that they set up for a former President of the United States ! "

"I don't want my personal emails made public. WHO WOULD ?? Would you? Would anyone? Would Trump release his? I don't think so."

may all need work...but SOME KIND OF OFFENSE

But, what I have learned is that if you have money and try hard enough - you can get any docs you want. although Dick Cheney seemed to avoid that.

As for Clinton Foundation - JC - they need to blast out there every day what the foundation does ! The press says Clinton Foundation like Seinfeld said Newman.

8. Once upon a time, there was a very fierce woman who sent some emails.

The bad men said she was a traitor and dangerous. In order to prove it, they began to post the emails on trees throughout the forest. They cleverly decided to post them one at a time. saying the emails were scandalous. They danced wickedly under the full moon, believing that their cunning scheme would be remembered right up until Election Day in the Kingdom, and that the fierce woman would be defeated by their Evil Orange Candidate. Their trick was soon discovered by the righteous voters, and the fierce woman won the election in a landslide. In fact, she took the Evil Orange Candidate out behind the woodshed and gave him an ass whooping. Then, they ate tacos and lived happily ever after. The end.

Very understandable AND oh so true!

Except that at least some of the so-called "righteous voters" still seem to believe that there is some "there" there and try to keep the contrived "scandal" alive when they should know MUCH better by now, IMO.

13 of them have been investigated by the FBI. When you send or receive email there is a copy of the email left in the send and inboxes. So two copies of each email survive. These new emails are likely the second copy. So they are already a known quality.

If so, I recommend cutting the cord, was the best thing I ever did. They're the ones making a big deal out of it and I think if Hillary had a pressor, it would just give them more fuel for their fire. It's a non-story and that's exactly how it should be managed by her campaign.
