Katrina Pierson vilifies Dallas Morning News as a ‘liberal paper’ for backing first Dem in 75 years

Trump campaign national spokesperson Katrina Pierson blasted The Dallas Morning News after it endorsed the first Democratic candidate in more than 75 years instead of picking Donald Trump.

On Wednesday, Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo asked Pierson what the campaign was going to do about the paper’s endorsement.

“Well, nothing,” Pierson shrugged. “We just acknowledge that The Dallas Morning News is a liberal paper.”

“The reason why they have supported Republicans is because that’s the establishment in the state of Texas,” she added. “And this is just an effort to continue to try to turn Texas blue. And it’s just not going to work.”

The reason they have supported Republicans for the last 75 years is because ...."establishment" and "plan to turn the state Blue". She is too dumb to understand that the words coming out of her mouth make no sense.

What does supporting Republicans have to do with turning the state into a Democratic party stronghold. Anyone who is not a complete fool would seem to understand that endorsing Republicans is the way to keep the state from turning Blue (Democratic).

Why did Bartiromo not just stop and say, "Do you realize just how stupid that statement makes you sound?"

Anybody who has spent more than a week-end in the Dallas area knows that the Dalllas Morning News is a notedly conservative paper.

The reason that the News isn't following the Murdoch media and the Alt-Right over the abyss and endorsing Trump is that the Dallas Morning News TRIES to be a thinking newspaper.

Apparently they cogitated enough (although that probably wasn't very hard) to realize that a Trump presidency would be a DISASTER for the USA.
