As of 9/7, no down ticket names either. There are usually several.

(26,177 posts)Swartz Creek is south west of Flint.
So far, that's it. The house that used to have a Carson sign in their yard did not replace it with a Trump sign.
SCRUBDASHRUB
(7,252 posts)Gary Johnson sign replaced Trump's.

(32,061 posts)Not many bumper stickers, but the ones I see are more for Hillary, which is surprising, considering I live in a pretty red part of South Carolina. I have seen a couple of people with Trump shirts or buttons, but I haven't noticed any enthusiasm for him here, outside of those few lost souls.

(14,543 posts)I drove Latrobe a few weeks ago and the stretch from Ebensburg to Latrobe if I saw 100 signs 98 of them were Trump, and is not a joke.
In my part of where I live in central Pa, pretty much the same.

(48 posts)Which is a good thing. Drumpf is a POS who doesn't deserve anyone's support.

(5,611 posts)There were many Bush signs in 2004, lots of McCain signs in 2008 (and a lot of "Palin" signs -- barf), and a decent number of Romney signs in 2012. There were also Obama signs in 2008, which was extraordinary as this is one of the reddest red states.
I have noticed a distinct lack of pro-Trump signs. The only neighbor who has one up puts up signs for everything, including just the local elections, and he is involved in local politics and is a die-hard Tea Party type. Other than his sign I have not seen one Trump sign in the entire area. I haven't seen Hillary signs either but this is a red red state.

(373 posts)They tried putting some up in their windows, but a week later they'd all been taken down. Trump is that unpopular here (but it's the DC area so he and his supporters are generally personae non grata).

(7,429 posts)But there are more Hillary Signs - they look great and I know these are the sane people!!!
The 2 Trump signs are the same 2 guys who have a Confederate Flag on their truck and Trucksticles on the other one. Winners!
This is in Port St Lucie, FL

I am in the process of moving out of that neighborhood after 50+ years. Sounds like it's time.
BTW, we have NO signs for Democrats, no matter the candidate.

(14,543 posts)This is the result of:
1) The stupid is THAT deep in this country/state
2) The right has effectively slandered Hillary to the point where people are too chicken shit to put a sign out.

(6,551 posts)So far, very few yard signs (local races). No Trump signs yet, one Hillary sign (ours). But that's only our neighborhood. I expect we'll see more by October.
Jamaal510
(10,893 posts)if there are any Trump signs here in Oakland, especially after he once dissed the city (saying that it's more dangerous than Iraq).
Retrograde
(10,070 posts)nary a presidential candidate sign to be found. I've seen a handful of signs for the state assembly race, one for Congress (the Democratic incumbent's a shoo-in) and that's about it.
colin62
(21 posts)Very few Hillary signs.
I'm south of Harrisburg. Trump has he majority of voters here... and it absolutely sickens me.

(4,451 posts)I have to travel deep in the middle of the State to find one.

(10,946 posts)one yard that I pass when I am going to the Library. Less then a week later they were gone. Other than that I have not seen any yard signs and this is in Oklahoma - as red as you can get.
Once in a while I see a bumper sticker but not that often.

(22,165 posts).... I travel through rural areas and see them.
sarae
(3,284 posts)but my neighborhood is probably 50-60% non-white, so no big surprise there.
I saw a jackass driving a gas-guzzling open-top Hummer with an obscenely large Trump/Pence flag streaming behind him, though.

(3,212 posts)I visited an old friend, my old car pool buddy- about 10 miles south of me, and he's surrounded by Trump racists. One also had a Duck Dynasty sign.
This is at the Jersey Shore, central NJ.

(1,737 posts)but I've seen them all over in South Florida. I've also seen a lot more trump bumper stickers than Clinton. Yesterday a lady stopped me to ask where I got mine and if I had to donate. She said that she has seen Trump stickers everywhere and very few Clinton. I encouraged her to donate and also showed her a few websites since she wanted to get hers quickly.

(4,892 posts)On Long Island. They all have signs for Jack Martins, the Republican candidate for Congress, but even they don't have Trump signs.

(81 posts)..in my town. I haven't been all over, but that's what's on my regularly travelled routes. NO Hillary signs at all, until I put mine up recently. Someone around the corner just put one up yesterday.
This is in Massachusetts, of all places . Hoping the ratio will change, the Clinton campaign was pretty slow shipping the signs out, nearly six weeks! Maybe more will be arriving soon.

(24,554 posts)Haven't seen any Trump signs. I don't think there will be many, becuz he isn't too popular and those that vote for him will vote for him without announcing it. I've seen a few Hillary signs. Lots of signs for local stuff. However, the local stuff is on public property etc.
LOL - There is some guy who's advertising as a write in. But I can't remember his name.
I don't think we're going to see many Trump signs around here. I don't think it means anything. Hillary will probably carry Bexar County.
There just isn't rabid enthusiasm for Trump around here, but I still think the R club will vote for him as they did Romney.
anamandujano
(7,004 posts)I took the long way home from HEB today so I could see a lawn that always had repuke signs out for the past several elections. Zip!
I don't care if they vote for him. I just like it that they are afraid to identify with him.

(6,276 posts)Trump signs everywhere. I don't think I've seen a single Hillary sign. One local Democrat is running a kick-ass race for state House and her signs are everywhere (they outnumber Trump signs) but other than that, almost nothing.
Welcome to Red State Hell (exacerbated by this being the place that gave the world Pence)
