Trump wrongly corrects veteran on suicide number

The issue of number of veteran suicides per day came up, a frightening statistic.
The accepted number now is 20, which ironically enough Trump himself has used during the campaign. The older number was 22.

The vet said "20" and Trump corrected her to say "22". When she shook her head and repeated "20" he said, okay, "20-22."
The dipshit just can't help himself. He has to be right, even when he is wrong.

Now, the simplistic rest of his response was awful.

2. But this has been a real sore point with vet groups.

For years the VA has been using the 22 number and the vet groups were telling them that it was wrong. Finally they started using the number 20. And the point is, even if she was wrong, why did he feel the need to correct her on it? In her question she talked about losing close friends to suicide. Someone with any compassion at all would have responded to that rather than focusing on the number.
