He was challenging all the nonsense talking points Sarah Huckabee was trying to spit out during the first 15 minutes of his show tonight.

He started his show with a one on one interview with Sarah Huckabee. She was doubling down on the Putin nonsense. Anderson Cooper asked her what specifically made Putin stronger than Obama...if it was invading Crimea or killing journalists or something else. He pointed out the hypocrisy of Trump and his surrogates talking like this over Putin and Russia but also throwing a fit over Obama normalizing relations with Cuba. Those are a couple of examples. After that interview they went to a panel, which isn't as good.

And points out hypocrisy. How is that bad? I don't get the whole eyeroll thing.

He doesn't seem to have an agenda, which tends to not endear him to those on the right or left. With Trump's non-stop rain of absurd bullshit, Cooper as a journalist has not been cutting the surrogates much slack, not that Trump or his minions deserves it

I'm a registered Independent swing voter, though. I'm mostly moderate...more liberal on some things and more conservative on others. I don't want or like biased reporting, no matter which way it slants. I just want the facts, honesty, objectivity and to be allowed to form my own opinion based on the truth. AC does not turn off people like me...the group of voters that end up determining who wins. This time around, Hillary Clinton is going to benefit from his reporting.

He does it less with the panels, likely because there are so many people trying to be heard already.

If so, try to catch the first 15 minutes when it replays or on youtube. That first part is what I was referring to.
