Mostly during the presidential elections, because I've found it as a safe place.

For the last few days, i've seen more posts lamenting the polls and declaring what's wrong with our candidate instead of validating her. The discussion here reflects what we hate the most about the media - an inordinate amount of focus on the negatives.

It's so depressing.

1. We had a clear out recently; you actually missed the worst of it.

Use IGNORE 'liberally' and it might improve your experience, especially since you are an infrequent user.

I've been a member for 11 years, 12 if you count lurking during the 2004 elections. I've seen the doom and gloom before, but this cycle is particularly bad.

Nobody posts pics of Hillary rallies, not much discussions about her surrogates, the polls which really have not wavered as much as some people make it out to be.

I'm not saying we should all be sunshine and ponies and unicorns. But we can encourage each other more. I was so inspired after the DNC - let's keep that light on!
