Fuck. There is video.

I don't care how our side tries to spin it, this is a gift to the GOP.

I know it's just a fainting episode, and people faint, but it plays right into their health BS. Need to change the subject, fast.

And hope that Trump camp overreacts in a way to create sympathy.

And it backfires. Let's hope.

However, I think she kind of blew it by walking out of Chelsea's apartment and not answering any questions. She needs to be more accessible - if nothing happened, then why not take a few questions?

And this is why it's important for her to be even more open, now

1) Trump/Drudge/Breitbart have been laying the groundwork for this for weeks. Imagine if none of the conspiracies theories were out there. This would be nothing. Instead, this is all you're going to see for 3 days if not longer.

2) Not answering questions about it plays into the whole "She's untrustworthy and has something to hide" angle.

You could see some outlining from the body armor. Since she is out in a very uncontrolled area I bet she had even a higher level of body armor on. I used to have to wear a kevlar flash suite. I had a 43 cal suite and a 100 cal suite. The 43 wasn't too bad. But the 100 was a killer. You couldn't keep the 100 on very long unless it was under 50 f. Kevlar doesn't breathe. Just wearing the jacket could keep me nice and toasty warm down in to the 40's leaving it partially open. The hour and half she was walking around would be tough for anybody.

And too many other Americans will stay home not believing he could get elected. Like it or not the Media see the Clitons as a chance to make themselves a buck. Trump is so flawed but he is being given as free pass the press wants a horse race.

This is the worst new we could get today. Please do not fool your self this is a real "hiar on fire moment". Can we recover yes but we need to understand how bad this looks and it will hurt. I pray that Hillary is ok but she now needs a full court press to change the story fast! What ever dirt we have been holding about Trump need to come out now!

as we saw, she left Chelsea's under her own power, looked firm and in control and even allowed a girl to come take a photo. Nonetheless. I think she wanted to get out of there asap. We can't deny what that 5 seconds of video will do for their campaign to paint that she's oh so sick. F*CK I'd vote for her in an Iron Lung over Drumf! However, she's not that bad, and most likely was just heat exhausted wearing that bulky clothing, not drinking coconut water, or wearing a hat in that city heat and humidity. The sharp reactions some give you and anyone who rationalizes what they saw is standard for boards. Just shake it off politely. Point being, this was a scary moment as she stepped, after head wobbling a couple times, into the the SUV, and thank God she came out of the apartment just a couple hours (right?) later just fine, and looked fine, and sounded fine! I would release a medical report tomorrow, and hopefully they will.

plus maybe having low blood sugar from not eating enough this morning/not having gotten enough sleep last night/being a bit dehydrated are all perfectly reasonable explanations for a basically healthy person experiencing a morning fainting episode, as appears to be on the video.

The difficulty in this particular case is that Hillary has that history of serious blood clots, is on Coumadin (blood thinner), and also has that history of a serious faint in the past. So it might not be that she just had a simple faint for the common reasons basically healthy people faint.

Until she's had a chance to be examined by a competent medical professional, she isn't really in a position to know what the cause(s) of the episode were and what they imply.

On the other hand, if she and the campaign just try to act as if nothing happened, they will just be making things easier for Trump.

With only single digits separating them in swing state polls, she can't really afford to do anything that plays to an advantage for Trump.

Also, nobody thought to try to find a place where there were no cameras, or video cameras to bring the van to pick her up. What were they thinking.

All of this could've been avoided if her campaign team managed this properly.

Her campaign team is terrible, imo, strategy wise also, too wimpy and laid-back, which is historically how Dems lose, by allowing the right and the media to control the narrative.

Bill Clinton and Obama won because they had a campaign team that was smart, but also tough and relentless.

Hillary's team (Mook, Podesta, Palmieri, Fallon) are overly polished and laid back, and imo, clueless in thinking that a conventional 'contrast of ideas' will work against the fascist clown and his army of deplorables, who know how to control the media.
