Can you imagine what the media would do if the Hillary campaign banned the Washington Post,

Politico, BuzzFeed, The Huffington Post, The Daily Beast, the Des Moines Register, the Union Leader, Univision, and Fusion from its campaign's events?

Hillary makes a statement that a good number of those that are supporting trump are racist bigots, and the media goes berserk.

Trump, his campaign, and his supporters make constant racial slurs, death threats, and other expletives befitting a KKK rally, and it is barely mentioned as a footnote.

The double standard that the media has been engaging in is pathetic

Agree entirely about the determined double standard--of course!, but...

Knock on wood, because they've improved a bit since the "forum," but WaPo sanctioned Trump by running negative headers on negative stories. I laughed to see it, but they'd been doing it to her all along. That was the only honest "equalization" of candidates the WaPo has engaged in.

As for Hillary calling out the bigots, I'm happy to say the press is talking "basket of deplorables" today. Joe's moaning about a big graph of trumpster bigotry stats this very moment, as a matter of fact. Joe sees through her "regret" statement as merely a device to restate her charges, and Mika points out that they've been talking about "basket of deplorables" for 2 hours now. Good job, Team HRC.
