2. To refute it Trump has to either agree and alienate a big chunk of his base, or defend those same

voters, which much of America won't be able to stomach. HRC's campaign is probably hoping for a Trump sound bite saying something like "there is nothing deplorable about my supporters" so they can then run ads with his klan following and Trump's voice saying how wonderful all his supporters are. It's not just klan followers either. I believe there is a virtual cornucopia of indefensible behavior from his supporters.
