Everyone elses Congressman sucks. I get that. But there really are some good people in public service. If we looked beyond their political ads, looked into their actual records, people wouldn't keep voting in the same losers.

But, Obama...damn. He's been one stellar rep for the United States, on every level. Could he have done some things better? Of course. But each of us can say the same thing about our own lives. Obama has been a great representative and leader. I have no regrets in voting for him, and it's unfortunate that so many people think "term limits" means we'll get a better government.

Stop voting in shitty people, then we'll get a better government. But vote in Obama again, without a recalcitrant GOP Congress and we could really see some progress in this country.

One of the proudest moments of my life was joining thousands of others at the Arena in Oakland to watch him take the oath in 2009. He's proven again and again he is truly worthy of the office.
