Trump turns sanctimonious.
Sanctimonious is "making a show of being morally superior to other people."
Following Hillary's speech in which she called half of Trump's supporters deplorable, Trump responded with one of the most sanctimonious speeches ever. It was almost if Bart Simpson was speaking. Trump was making a big show about how Hillary was treating "hard-working American patriots" so badly. Yeah, right. They work hard at being violent during his rallies. In fact, at that same rally, one of his "patriots," grabbed and punched a demonstrator being led out by security.
Talk about actions proving the point. Stop being deplorable and maybe they'll stop calling you deplorable.
